Hello Cave Dwellers!

I'm not very good a keeping secrets, so I'm glad I can get this off my chest.

We've been approached and approved for a Man Cave Book Deal!

The book at this time is still in the infancy stage, but should be a 192 page paperback. We have a great writer out of New York City and the book is being published by a big name publisher (Harper Collins).

The book will primarily focus on YOUR man caves. Having said that, the publisher or myself may be contacting ...

Hello again Cave Dwellers!

As you can tell by the title of this thread, we are holding a "Man Cave of the Year 2009" contest.

Randomly selected ManCaveSite.org members (which have already been notified) have the dubious honor of selecting their top 15 favorite Man Caves that are displayed on the site (Member or Non-Member caves).

I'd have a hard time only selecting 15 caves, out of all the fantastic cave listed (over 100).

Once we receive all the nominations ...

Evening Gents,

My name is Bob, I recently joined and wanted to share some construction pix of my "Cave in Progress." As I am a musician, I have grown tired of paying outrageous rates to record at studios as well as attempting to book blocks of time around other bands at the local studios. My cave features a recording studio and lounge area, so that I can play music and hang out as if I was in one of the local studios. I will definitely share more pictures as we progress. It was a decent night! In the Pro4 David qualified 2nd quick. The old worn out tires didn't like him much though. We got 4th place in both of the main events we ran! The big point though is that he is the CHAMPION!!

David got some good seat time in on the new car for next year. The new division seems as though they play a little rougher. David had a 50 lap main event for the ...

That is no longer the case. My family recently moved into our new home and it's got a readymade Cave. I'll be personalizing it and posting pics soon (hopefully). I received my Man Cave certificate today and plan on framing it and giving it a special place of honor somewhere in the Cave.

Greetings fellow cave dwellers! I've been lurking and reading here for a while, and just now feeling like the cave is coming along enough to dive in and share a bit.

After a few years of living on the road to keep business afloat I managed to settle down in one spot. Trouble is, I can't drink/smoke in the house and this place is so full of windows there's no space to hang up my dart boards and enjoy the company of my team mates and friends. The problem is my golf cart tires leave tread stains on the surface where parked, which is almost anywhere depending on what I'm doing at the time. You can see the tread pattern on the floor. I've tried all kinds of cleaners, the only thing that has any effect is a foaming engine degreaser, but still not perfectly clean. My question is for the other epoxy floor ...

Mostly I am just writing this idea down so that I don't forget it later, but maybe it will help someone else out too.

Where to put the cave is an easy decision for many people that have either a basement or garage, but not everyone has either of these. Does this mean that they should be forced to live a cave free life? NO!

How manly is this idea? Build a cave in your back yard using steel shipping crates. Cheap and environmentally conscious too.

I did a quick google search, and ...

Although caves are seeing what amounts to significant exposure, it's not nearly as well known as it could be, or too many cavers haven't found the site and reaped it's benefits or contributed to it's growth. But then, it is what it is. I for one enjoy being one of the members.

We did get David out in the new car for two practices. The car runs great!! He was only 1/2 a second slower than one of the top cars! Not bad for the first time in a new car! We've got a few small things to work on over the next two weeks on the new car. We'll definately be ready to try this again in two weeks! Thank you to everyone ...

Hello, I'm new to the site. Here are a few pictures of my cave in progess:

It will be a Sports & Firefighting themed room with a big screen, surround sound and pleanty of brew on tap. Here's a link to my PhotoBucket gallery if you're interested in seeing the progress pics of the bar: (sorry, for some reason, the order of the photos in the album got mixed up, but you should be able to figure it out...)

The BOZ Racing Butterfield Photography ManCaveSite.org car had another great points night. We finished second in the heat race and second in the main event. The driver David took the second place position in the main event on the last lapand in the last turn!!!!

We are still well on our way to a championship year for Butterfield Photography and ManCaveSite.org!!!! Next race is on July 25th!!!

As always..... we couldn't be doing this without our great sponsors. Thanks Robert and Maria ...

Got an email today with a tracking number. He's relaxing in Phoenix for the moment as of 12:41 AM this morning. I expect he'll arrive around Thursday or so, just in time to do some manly things for the 4th. We've got a busy schedule, as I do want to show him a good time. Stay tuned for updates with photos. Sure am glad he's back on tour.
