Have we heard anything new from the cave dweller lately?

Haven't heard anything. We sure hope he got there in one piece. He is currently at the Tim Repass cave. Hope to hear or see something soon.

All,

Due to the number of Man Cave Members, we've decided to get a second "Cave Dweller" out there. The first one has been nicknamed "Tode" for reasons I'll have to explain later if anyone cares to know. His new companion will be referred to as "Towd" (yea, I know my car got Towd, I have a million of them!) and will be posted on the website and shipped out in earnest.

So look for Towd and give him a big Man Cave welcome.

In as much as nicknames are not handed out randomly, but earned in one time honored manner or another, we are most definately interrested in how "Tode" got his.

I would be very interested in how he got his name.

Hope I haven't made too much of this, but fellow Man Cave Member Marty who had ownership of the Traveling Cave Dweller was preparing to send him off to its new owner Man Cave Member Tim R. I believe it was through email traffic that Marty referred to the Traveling cave dweller as "Tode". Being in a rush he didn't notice the mistake, and as they say the rest is history. Not to mention the onslaught of ribbing provided by yours truly!

I'm having a Christmas party next week, much of which will be in the recently completed Cave. Either traveling cave dweller (and anyone else for that matter) are cordially invited to partake of lots of food, large quantities of your favorite libations, and a white elephant gift exchange. This will be the 7th year for a well attended annual event, I'd love to have ya'll here. Contact me here for more details.

Just copy and paste it into your browser. I also have a video on gallery page of putting together a pig roast we had this past 4th of July. It was the 4th one we've done. I plan to have a gathering for one of the Titan's games coming up and will get some pictures and video of his visit before shipping him back.
I hope all is well with my cave brothers. I am in mortgage/real estate business so I've been a bit distracted trying to keep my head above water. Keep cav'in and lets look for things to turn for the better soon.

"TODE" is iin Intensive Care. While in Phoenix he visited the Heart Attack Grill and took a nose dive off a table. His chaperone feels terrible, but is patching him us as we speak.

From what I saw of that establishment, he was probably observing the staff carefully evaluating their capabilities and lost his balance. My best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Did he have health insurance? If not, maybe now would be a good time to start a fund to assist in his recovery. I have an excellent place where he could convelesce for a time and I'd be happy to post as he gets better. Let me know!

Wishing a speedy recovery for TODE. As it happens, TOWD was going to be at that very same establishment this weekend. Now I am not sure it is safe for a simple cave dweller. Having been there my self I know that it is rather easy to stumble while observing the staff do what they do best. There should be more pictures forth coming.

God speed tode. we are here for you buddy,but by the looks of thing you had a couple a great looking nurses there when it happen. good luck.

Has anyone heard from tode recently? Where is he? How did he come through his rehab? What's happening with him? Whisky Tango Foxtrot Oscar ?????

According to the doctors, TODE's recovery has taken longer than expected. We may have to take a DNA sample and have him cloned. We hope not. I'll try to get a status tomorrow. We've been trying to get him home where we believe the rehab will speed his recovery.

We will keep you posted.

From what I hear...TODE's reconstructive surgury went well. I pick him up today. This will be the first time I've seen him in quite some time. I'll get some photos posted once he arrives.

Picked up TODE Friday from ICU. He doesn't look to bad, but is very fragile in a few areas. I'm working on him now to make him more solid. Didn't realize how thin he was in areas and hollow. I'm filling his insides with "Great Stuff" hoping to make him more solid. Not sure if it will work. Have a cold one on TODE's name and mine if you want. That's two beers without guilt!

I'll keep you posted and get some pics posted.

TODE has made it to London Ky..... !! Thank you Blake for the safe trip for the poor guy... We have a many things planned to see and do... I hope I wont be a TODE hog... but Iv got a bucket list I made for when he made it to my Cave...
I'll try my best to pet him, and hold him, and call him GEORGE!!! Kidding... cartoon clip for the cartoon dudes out there..

We have received a lot of replies from our email to Man Cave Members asking if anyone would like to host either of the Cave Dwellers.

As of today, both dwellers, TODE and TOWD are doing fine and enjoying the great guys (which includes all of you) that are part of this website!!

Rumor has it that TOWD has made it's way back to AZ and I may even get a chance to see him at the races saturday.
TODE is somewhere on the east coast jumping from state to state checking out the sites.

Thanks to all that responded. Keep it coming...we will just add you to the list in the order they arrive. If you didn't get my email...feel free to send me a message (either private or here) and I'll get you on the list.

You are all great sports, and hope you have fun with either Cave Dweller...as they do enjoy hanging out in Man Caves!!!!
