Mancavesite.org is friggin famous! News reports, newspaper articles, the only thing missing is Good Morning America! I think Mike might need an agent or manager.

Speaking of "In the News"...We were contacted today by the Senior Editor of a prominent New York City publisher to possibly do a Man Cave Book! I'm scheduled to talk with him tomorrow to discuss the details.

Not sure what kind of book they have in mind.

There may be a need to use some of your Man Cave photos in the book...so you may be getting an email from me to ask for permission to use them (giving you credit of course).

Looks like I'll get the outline on Monday from the writer I'll be working with. The writer is one of a group who writes for SNL. After we work out the details for the book outline it then goes to the Editors' boss for approval. If accepted...we are on our way. Proposed release date of Dec 2010.

That would be a very cool book. My cave is actually suppose to be in a special edition of Wood magazine in December. I was contacted late last year by the publishers. It's a special edition on garage makeovers.....

Way to go Gunslinger. I'll be looking for that magazine.

ManCaveSite.org was just contacted today by the New York Times to do an article on Man Caves. Trying to set something up for tomorrow.

Did a short interview with the Enquirer from the West Coast of England. Waiting to see if their art department need photos of Caves. Watch your email just in case.

Just got an email from "What's Up" magazine. I think this is the article I contributed to from the state of Maine. Not sure how you guys will react to her write-up, but you can make up your own mind on her article.


Tend to think she is reading way too much into this...

Definitely written from a female point of view. I didn't care for her analyzation of why we build mancaves. Just a question that doesn't need to be asked. The publicity is fantastic however keep it up!

Actually this is in Maryland and sad to say she trashed this article. She was in contact months ago here with Mike, and he in turn contacted me about her doing an article and using some pics of my cave. After several emails and a couple phone calls later she and a photographer were to come to my home for some additional pics. That never happened and the next thing I know she called me last week and said the article was in print but she had submitted the wrong name for it. She got Matt right but thats about it. Alot of what I had told her was not printed correctly. I guess she worded it to fit the magazine. It's a small publication (readership of about 88,000) Didn't mean to rant but just makes us here in MD look bad !
