I always thought Man Caves were a place to get away from your Nagging Woman?

I always thought a Man Cave was a place for a man to get away from his nagging woman, Some of the pictures of the Man Caves on this site, actually attract women. The goal is to attract women to you Bedroom, not your Cave. Unless your cave has a Stripper Pole in it.

What are the Rules of an Official Man Cave?

I thought there should be items in a man cave that women have No interest in being near.
Its a place to Hide away from your woman and maybe your kids also.
Its a place where you and your buddies and best friend (dog) hang out.
Its a place where your hobbies items are stored.
A place where your tools and parts, are still laying at the same place you left them. So your woman will not move them, causing you to get angry when you can not find them.

Its also a place for entertainment, that only other men can relate to.

A Man Cave is built for what you want to use it for.

Generally, a Man Cave is a place where family and friends hang out and have a good time. If you don't want women in your cave, that is your prerogative.

Most guys don't generally want a "Sausage Fest" all the time in the cave. A little female companionship is always nice. Just remember, they aren't allowed to decorate!

That is a good way to look at it, Yes I agree, you should not let your woman decorate your Man Cave. LOL I guess its not just a get away from your "Other Half" LOL Thanks

My wife hangs out in the cave with me and watches TV. She has no say as to the way it's set up or what I do with it, but I don't kick her out....

I concur with gunslinger. Same situation here. My wife and I watch Blu-Rays or Netflix movies kicked back on the recliner. The decorative motif has been completely decided by yours truly. Hence, nothing but sports stuff!

I have lucked out in this deal since i did all the work. and she does'nt watch much tv. I was able to do the BOSE surround , 65" DLP SAMSUNG and so on.CAVE ON!!!!!
