New mancave under construction "The Barage"
Since the wife shows no excitement about my mancave project, i have come to a place that i know will.
I just finished my basement, with a TV watching area and an area for the kids to play. I had planed on a using another 250SF or so of the basement for the mancave. After a month with the rest of the basement finished, i realized...the mancave is WAY TO FRIGIN' CLOSE TO WHERE to where the kids are hanging and making a crap load of noise when we have people over....
The mancave is now moving to bay of my garage...wecome to the "Barage" Bar/garage

Nice layout, what are the dimensions of the space?
Don't sweat the wife not wanting any part of it, she'll get involved if you let her.
How does the Cave enter the garage? Any thoughts of future expansion into the garage? If so, suggestion.... French Doors entering the cave from the garage, that way they are connected and invited to each other.
Bottom line, have fun with it!

its 24' long x 12' wide where the bar is, and just under 14' at the other end.
The front of the garage is to the right. the top of the drawing, where the stairs are is the entrance to the house, to the left is the back of the garage and the back yard. There will be double French doors leading to a patio in the back yard. At the bottom of the drawing is the rest of the garage, there will probably be a set of double doors there. No plans on expanding into the rest of the garage, but i will have the ability to use it as overflow space when needed, and probably put the pingpong table there in the spring summer and fall, during the winter, the wife will be parking there.

Still pecking away at this.
The finished exterior
busting a doorway from the house to the garage
My bar back cooler converted to a kegorator.
The bar back and the popcorn shrine
A temporary bar i grabbed for free.
The booths
The entertainment system and security cameras
The ceiling

That's sweet man, great job. Have you thought about putting some outdoor planters out there to spruce up the place a little bit? Might give it a cool feel! Really though, I like what you've done with the place!
