I had no idea there were others like me! I have been building my mancave for three years. There have been some taerdowns and start overs. It is an 80 year old grainery barn that is 30 X 45 and 100 yards from the house. It has power but currently no water. I am currently working on putting the second floor in above the tallest part in the middle. Already have a fridge 2 tvs, dvds, vcrs. This winter put in an old woodburning stove to keep the mixers from freezing. Biggest problem is that I am cheap. I am making all my own furniture for the cave.

So far i have a dresser that has a leather and navajo top with hand forged pulls. A kitchen island that has a 6 inch butcher block top with grill set and wine rack(forged). A cedar trunk to keep blankets and junk in. About to finish a stand alone chuckbox to go next to the stove as a cooking center.

Will include some pics when wife teaches me how to use her digital camera.

Welcome!! Yes there are others like you and thousands more who have yet to find us. Like they said in the movies, "Build it and they will come". Well that's what we did.

Your cave sounds fantastic. Need to get the digital camera working and send us some pics. We'd love to see it.
