June 6th Racing

It was another good night for the Butterfield Photography ManCaveSite.org
Mustang!!! Format last night was an 8 lap heat race and two 15 lap main events.
David finished 2nd in all three races. We do have one issue of a right rear
tire shrinking when it heats. He bought two new tires for the next race. The
last main if we had 5 more laps he probably could have gotten the leader!
Constantly lapping the hornets on the track helps and hurts at the same time.
Towards the end of the 2nd main the hornets slowed the leader a bit and it
looked like David would have been able to pass both hornets and maybe the leader
at the same time but...... one of the hornet drivers seemed to have a different
idea. They did not hit (although it looked that way from the stands) but David
did have to whoa up a lot to avoid it.

Points wise we are looking great!!! Karen who is third in points did not show
up for some reason. The guy that is 2nd in points finished in 4th twice and 3rd
once so we should have 10 more points on him for the night!!!

We can't wait until the 20th when Robert and Maria are here!!!! I'm (Missy)
really hoping they do a mid-season points champion ceremony so David can be out
there with the three of you since we wouldn't be here without you guys!! Thank
