BOZ Racing August 22nd race

Well the night started out great! David won his heat race. The main event was a different story though. On the third lap of the main event David got in some water on the track and he got very loose. He unfortunately turned right into a competitor and good friend of ours. The initial hit was hard enough to break the roll cage bars in the other car. After that hit our friend turned straight into the wall. Both drivers are OK!!! They will both be sore for a few days though. Our car has a lot of front end damage but is all fixable. The other car has extensive damage and we hope they will be able to fix it.

As everyone is saying....that's racing! It's tough to have something happen like that and even tougher when a friend and fellow competitor ends up involved in it as well.

We are on track to have both the current car and the new Limited Late Model car racing on September 5th!! We should still be able to make that even with all the work we'll have to do to the current car now.

David got a ton done to the car today! We are a few hours more work away from being ready to go again. At this point he's got to fix the sway bar, check the camber and caster of the wheels and then cosmetics! Painting and filling in a few more holes!! We called the other driver today as well and he was on his way to his shop to see what he needs to do. He's sore but doing good!!
